Sometimes it is all fun and games…

We love word games – so we invented “Phrasemakers”, a half-hour word game designed to be played on TV by celebrities and people from the audience. It’s a great game: fun (and funny), fast-paced, and literate. We’ve talked with a boatload of celebrities (they’re enthusiastic), played it a hundred times with friends and family (ditto), and even taped a pilot (which drew raves).

So why isn’t “Phrasemakers” on the air? Commercial TV says word games are too subtle, and we haven’t found a funder for other outlets. Maybe some day!
