For a hospital, a capital campaign – €”and a shot in the arm

St. Clair Hospital had grown from a quiet community hospital to a first-rate major medical center—but many people, even in the local community, didn’t know it. That posed a serious problem as the hospital prepared to launch a capital campaign.

We were asked to write a casebook that would highlight St. Clair’s growth and expertise in a way that would motivate contributions. We worked with the hospital to identify emblematic patients and the health care team members who had treated them, telling the story of St. Clair’™s growth and capabilities through their eyes.
